Inhouse GROUP3 Workshop: Case Study - One Central Park

1602g0

Learn about the engineering and green features of One Central Park. Designed by award-winning French architect Jean Nouvel with PTW Architects, the two residential towers rising above retail on lower levels have redefined green living in Sydney.

AAA partner Inhouse GROUP3 runs a series of workshops and seminars eligible for formal CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points to design professionals, including architects, designers, builders and engineers. The One Central Park Workshop taking place at the end of February can be attended as either a half day or full day.

The first half of the day focuses on the engineering of the building, with presenters such as: architect Mark Giles (Senior Associate at PTW), engineer Matthew Harding (Principal at Robert Bird Group), industrial designer Tim Phillips (Director at TILT) and engineer Chris Samaras (Operations Manager at Samaras Group).

The second half of the day presented by horticulturalist Jock Gammon Director of Jungly, who worked with French botanist Patrick Blanc to deliver the world’s tallest vertical garden at 130m high (over 1120 square metres). The afternoon presentation will focus on the living infrastructure of One Central Park.
