The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Australia is offering 'All About Architecture' readers a special discount on tickets to their latest exhibition 'Light Show'. Taking place between the 16 April - 5 July 2015, 'Light Show' is the perfect compliment to Sydney's current 'Vivid Festival'.
Spectacular sculptures and installations light up Sydney, following record attendances in London and Auckland.
Experience rooms filled with colour and watch as multitudes of twinkling illumination points coalesce into shifting scenes. This immersive, multisensory exhibition shows the variety of ways that artists around the world have worked with light as a sculptural form.
'Light Show' features works from the 1960s to the present day by 17 major international artists, including Dan Flavin, Bill Culbert, Jenny Holzer and James Turrell. Ranging from atmospheric installations to sculptures that you can move around and even through, 'Light Show' invites you to experience the spatial and sensory effects of light in a myriad of forms.
Light show will be open late (9pm) every night during Vivid Sydney (22 May - 8 June).
For Australian Architecture Association audiences, the MCA is offering a special 20% discount off tickets online. Redeem this special offer by clicking here.
