This month the Australian Architecture Association has a fabulous house featured in our open house series 'At Home With the Architect'. The house will be opened on Sunday 26 October and features the work of Architect Prineas.
Eva-Marie Prineas established her practice Architect Prineas in 2004 after working in award practices such as Clive Lucas Stapleton & Partners and Environa Studio.
An active advocate for the architectural profession, Eva-Marie was one of the founders of DARCH - the Australian Institute of Architects group for emerging architects. She continues to mentor emerging architects as an educator at the University of Sydney, examiner for the architects registration exam at the NSW Board of Architects and jury member for NSW architectural awards.
Exposure to Heritage Conservation areas in Eva-Marie's early career has set the foundation for Architect Prineas' philosophy on adapting and understanding places that are already special.
Architect Prineas's team work together with their clients and builders to engage in a process of place making. Be it an extreme or intimate change, a reinvention or an enhancement - every project is an opportunity to be part of their clients' distinctive routines and vision for living.
The practice shares their knowledge and love for quality spaces and aesthetic, creating enduring places to live, work and visit.
