Special General Meeting a success

Last night, 15 December, 80 members gathered in the Seidler apartment on a balmy Sydney evening and unanimously adopted the two Special Resolutions put to the membership.

There was a terrific response from the members to the notice and more than three quarters sent in proxies or attended the meeting ensuring a successful outcome.

The successful passing of the two special resolutions this evening should see the AAA being included on the register of cultural organisations early in the New Year. This will be another important and strategic difference that the AAA will have made to the perception of architecture in Australia since being formed.
— Glenn Murcutt, President and chair of the meeting.
